Al Jazeera Commends Al-Khair Foundation’s Efforts to Help UK’s Homeless

In its news story titled “Muslims and Christians team up to help homeless???, Al Jazeera praised Al-Khair Foundation for its efforts to help UK’s most disadvantaged.

Talking about the importance of sharing in Islam, Al-Khair Foundation’s Imtiaz Mohammed (Head of Programmes) said, “As Muslims, Islam teaches us that we can’t go to bed on a full stomach while our neighbour goes hungry???.

This winter, Al-Khair Foundation has pledged to provide hot meals to Britain’s most vulnerable. Until now, food has been offered to the homeless in a number of locations across London. Further events are planned in different cities during the coming weeks.
