“Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)????
Qur’an (93:6)
.
The Qur’an has taught us many lessons of showing love, compassion and kindness towards orphans. Sahih Bukhari narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “The one who cares for an orphan and provides for him will be with me in Jannah like this,??? and he held up his middle finger and index finger together. Many of us have been fortunate enough to grow up surrounded by love in families with siblings and both parents; however, there are a great number of children in the developing world who have lost either one or both of their parents due to poverty or war. These children are extremely vulnerable and susceptible to hunger, poverty and even exploitation without the means to protect or safe-guard themselves.
.
Al-Khair Foundation pays special attention to the plight of vulnerable children, supporting diverse programmes catering to the welfare of orphans across the world. Our Orphan Sponsorship programme pairs donors with an orphan – during which the child is provided with all their basic necessities from food and clothing, to shelter and access to education.
.
This Ramadan, Give Today for Their Tomorrow by donating towards a vulnerable orphan’s living costs, including health, clothing, food and education for just £45 per month or £540 a year.
.
By supporting our Orphan programme, you can provide these orphans with the start they need in life to help them live and not just survive!
