Modern slavery and human trafficking are grave abuses of human rights that strip people of their freedom and dignity, and they have no place in our organisation, our operations, or our supply chains.

This statement is published voluntarily. As a charity whose income is derived overwhelmingly from donations and legacies Al-Khair Foundation states that, in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, given the nature of our humanitarian work and the regions in which we operate, we consider it both responsible and consistent with our values to state that we take all necessary steps to identify and prevent modern slavery.

This statement is structured to align with the disclosure areas recommended under section 54 and the Home Office statutory guidance.
