In October 2014, AKF, in partnership with Taiba Medial Centre, initiated the ‘Save a Life’ Project. This project enabled medical professionals to treat tumour-related cases free of charge. Al-Khair Foundation supported 160 patients, who underwent surgery the Taiba Medial Centre. These people would not have been able to get treatment, otherwise, due to financial constraint and the high price of surgeries. This project also advocated awareness of how serious tumours are and to get them treated as soon as possible. Beneficiaries include 10 -15 tumour patients per month..
