In April 2026, Mostafa Salameh will climb Mount Everest — not for personal glory, not for a summit photo, but to carry something far more powerful: The dreams of Gaza's children.
This expedition, titled Rising Dreams, is a global call to humanity. It is a journey from the rubble of war to the roof of the world, from silence to voice, from survival to hope.
The Mission
Mostafa, a Palestinian refugee born to displaced parents, has spent his life climbing the highest mountains on Earth. Yet one dream remains unfulfilled: to enter Palestine freely and visit Gaza. He has been denied that right.
So instead, Gaza will come with him.
Three children from Gaza will be selected to represent thousands. Through film, storytelling, and global meetings, they will share their dreams, their drawings, their hopes and their truth.
Mostafa will carry their dreams physically to the summit of Everest.
From Gaza to 8,848 meters above sea level, their voices will rise higher than politics, higher than walls, higher than war.
Why This Matters
Gaza is home to one of the largest populations of child amputees in the world today. Thousands of children have lost limbs due to ongoing conflict. Tens of thousands are injured, traumatized, and in urgent need of medical care, prosthetics, rehabilitation, psychological support, and long-term recovery programs.
This campaign aims to raise $10,000,000 USD.
All funds will go directly toward:
Advanced prosthetics for child amputees
Reconstructive and life-saving surgeries
Medical evacuations where needed
Trauma and psychological rehabilitation
Education support for displaced children
Long-term medical and humanitarian care
This is not symbolic fundraising. This is life-changing intervention.
The Documentary
The entire expedition will be professionally filmed — from preparation to summit — telling the story of the three children and their dreams, their artwork and messages carried to Everest, global leaders and communities they will meet, the journey of a refugee climbing for his people, and a world invited to stand together for children.
The documentary will ensure transparency, global reach, and continued awareness long after the summit.
The Story Behind Rising Dreams
The Rising Dreams logo represents movement upward — like prayer flags in the wind, like a heartbeat rising, like a flag carried through storm.
The Palestinian colors embedded in the expedition suit symbolize dignity, resilience, and identity.
This climb is not about division. It is about children. It is about restoring limbs, futures, and dignity. It is about proving that even from the deepest devastation… dreams can rise.
