THE CHALLENGE
• One incredible day of trekking, biking and kayaking in the stunning Lake District National Park
• All bike and kayak equipment included for you
• Off-road mountain biking on the trails of famous Grizedale forest
• Trek to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston
• Kayak around Coniston Water
This incredible challenge pits you against the spectacular adventure playground of the Lake District National Park.
Trek to the summit of one of the Lake District’s most iconic peaks, the Old Man of Coniston, before testing yourself on the off-road mountain bike trails of Grizedale forest, then kayak across iconic Coniston Water.
The hire of all bikes, kayaks and safety equipment is included in the challenge.

Hurry!!!! this challenge is the most sought after at this time of the year(May-July) and spaces run out very quickly. The best action is to Register/Book your space in the first available opportunity. Registration is First Come First Serve basis.

Fundraising Options
Option I. SELF FUNDER – Pay a non-refundable registration fee of £85.00 when you book.Then a balance of £214.00(9 weeks before your challenge).

Option II. MINIMUM SPONSORSHIP– Pay a non-refundable registration fee of £85.00 when you book.
Raise a minimum of £435.00 for Al-Khair Foundation (Water Projects) to help those who await your HELP.
Setting up your fundraising page
Please read carefully and follow the steps below.
As soon as your registration is confirmed, you must immediately create your fundraising at https://www.justgiving.com/alkhair
Select Alkhair Foundation as the Charity you are supporting and fundraising for.
Manually enter ‘AKF Lake District Triple Challenge 2023’ as the event you are participating.
Enter your fundraising Target amount and short message in support of the cause. Once your justgiving page is created. Share the link to your page with your as many friends and supporters to make the most towards your fundraising target.

We will expect you to have fundraised atleast 80% of your fundraising Pledge 4 weeks before date of Event.

Who can participate…
UK citizens of any gender. The minimum age to participate is 16. There is no upper age limit.
Detailed instructions, Health and safety policy and itinerary related to the event will be sent over by email when registration is completed.
