Al-Khair Foundation showcased its charitable works at a prestigious event hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London.
The Foundation (AKF) was one of a select group of organisations invited to the City Giving Day which raises funds and promotes charitable efforts.
More than 500 attendees were offered the chance to sign up for volunteer work with AKF, which runs a range of projects in the UK and internationally.

The event, hosted by Lloyds Banking Group, was hosted by Lord Mayor, Dr Andrew Parmley who visited the AKF and the other seven groups invited to the Day.
City Giving Day is one day in the year when businesses can unite to celebrate and showcase their charitable and volunteering efforts with employees, clients, suppliers and the public, said a spokesperson for the Lord Mayor.
Al-Khair Foundation, based in Croydon, is one of the UK’s fastest growing Muslim charities, supports charitable events internationally.
